Scholarships Change Lives
The Butler Fund for Student Scholarship is Butler’s top funding priority and area of greatest need for a reason–because our students are our top priority. Scholarships are crucial to fulfilling our strategic vision of expanding access to a Butler education. We annually invest 31% of our operating budget into competitive financial aid packages that put a Butler education within reach of promising students because we are convinced that Bulldogs are a worthy investment.
We need your help to make this robust financial aid program sustainable. Studies continue to show the significant, long-term economic and personal benefit for those who pursue education beyond high school. When you support student scholarships, you are truly changing the trajectory of a student’s life forever. And, because our mission is to prepare our graduates to make a meaningful impact in the world, you can feel confident that your gift will also have a long-term ripple effect as today’s students become tomorrow’s graduates.
Three Ways to Invest in a Bulldog:
Thank you for joining in our mission by investing in our top priority.
The Butler Fund for Student Scholarship
All gifts to the Butler Fund for Student Scholarship go directly to current students in the form of scholarships. Gifts of any size make an immediate and meaningful impact by making the Butler experience possible for today’s students.
Named Annual Scholarships
Donors can name an annual scholarship through a minimum gift of $2,500/year for four years. Annual scholarships can be directed to a student studying in a particular College or a student-athlete.
To make a gift to this scholarship, please contact the Office of Annual Giving at 800-368-6852, ext. 9469.
Endowed Scholarships
Endow a named scholarship that will exist in perpetuity at Butler, benefitting untold numbers of future Bulldogs. Endowed scholarships can be established through a gift of at least $50,000, payable over five years. Or, donors can establish an endowed scholarship through a planned estate gift.
